The Gardens of Bammel Lane is a picture perfect reception and ceremony site
tucked between Westheimer and West Alabama and centrally located in the River Oaks area
of Houston. This unique district features a small cluster of quaint boutiques housed in
restored cottages. The focal point in the middle of the lushly landscaped grounds is a
large English Conservatory which can be rented for parties, weddings and receptions. The
entire area is accented with Victorian lamps and a series of wrought iron gates.
The conservatory was imported from London and has double glazed windows and an Ogee
(S-shaped) roof design. It is centrally air-conditioned and heated. Brides will get a
definite European feel amidst the gardens with their serpentine walkways trimmed in pastel
flower beds and accented with a gurgling fountain and romantic gazebo. The gazebo and
outside grounds are available for each function with the rental of the conservatory.
The Gardens of Bammel Lane specializes in luncheons, rehearsal dinners, weddings
and other events for up to 120 guests indoors, and 200 utilizing both indoors and
out. There is a restaurant on site which has catered previously, but brides can choose
their own caterer and beverage service.
